About Danielle
Danielle obtained a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in sociology from Elon University in 2011. She was a competitive dancer throughout her youth and college years and developed chronic knee pain. To avoid surgery, Danielle sought to ease her pain with Yoga. It worked, and soon Danielle would become a Yoga Alliance certified Yoga teacher in 2015. Danielle then went on to pursue advanced training in Yoga Therapeutics from the Center for Integrative Yoga Studies. Additionally, she is a certified facilitator of Trauma Sensitive Yoga from the Center for Trauma and Embodiment at the Justice Resource Institute. She worked as a Healing Arts Therapist at Wilmington Treatment Center, and served on Acadia Healthcare’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusivity Council. She founded World Healing Heart Yoga Academy in 2022, offering preliminary teacher training and continuing education for Yoga teachers.
Today, Danielle is a member of the International Association of Yoga Therapists and Institute for Functional Medicine. She is enrolled in the University of Maryland Baltimore’s Masters program in Health Science with a concentration in Integrative Health & Wellness.
Danielle has experience working with individuals suffering from chronic pain, addiction, trauma survivors, mental health disorders, and folx with disabilities. She has a 100% success rate in reducing pain levels after a single session.
